How we create Whimsy
Each shelter is made to order in our small workshop — no production lines, no warehouse stacks. Just thoughtful design, noble materials, and precise craftsmanship. Every house is unique — like your pet, only slightly less stubborn.

How long will I wait for my order?
Each shelter is handmade to order in our small workshop, which means they aren’t sitting in a warehouse waiting their turn. Production time may also vary depending on material availability from our suppliers and the stage of production. We aim to ship orders within 8-10 days, but we believe that something special is worth a little patience. The hardest part will be convincing your cat to let you unpack it first.
What are the dimensions and sizes?
Each model has its own royal proportions — exact dimensions can be found on the product pages. But rest assured, they’re spacious enough for naps yet cozy enough to feel like a true sanctuary.
Do the shelters require assembly?
Each shelter arrives fully assembled — because we believe you deserve more naps and fewer instruction manuals.
What materials are the shelters made of?
Solid oak or ash wood, 20 mm thick. Sturdy, non-flexible felt (650g/m²) and a sprinkle of fur. We use materials that not only look great but also keep your pet comfortable for all 17 of their daily naps.
Are shelters suitable for both cats and dogs?
Of course! Cats, small dogs, and the occasional rabbit with attitude — Whimsy is for pets who appreciate comfort and class.
